Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the physical well-being and quality of life of our residents through tailored therapy programs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations of residents to determine their physical capabilities and treatment needs.
- Monitor and document residents' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to provide holistic care.
- Educate residents and their families on home exercise programs and strategies to maintain and enhance physical health.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at improving residents' strength, mobility, and functional independence.
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities to address physical impairments.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and professional standards.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state.
- Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or working with the geriatric population is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
