About the PositionJob Title: Physical Therapist (Outpatient) Profession: Physical Therapist Specialty: Physical Therapist (Outpatient) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift - 5 x 8s Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Two years' Physical Therapy experience preferred License: Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice required Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Must-Have: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required if obtained license on or after January 2016 or foreign equivalent Description: This position plans and conducts segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions. The role includes serving as a co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups. The therapist completes evaluations to ensure quality standards and addresses assessment areas that require attention. They utilize appropriate clinical techniques and tools to establish individualized treatment plans for patients. The role involves providing therapy interventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques. The therapist establishes individualized care and discharge plans and ensures that these plans are communicated to appropriate parties. Comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation must be completed within established deadlines. The therapist supervises assigned assistants and performs other job-related duties as assigned.
