Potential Motion Health is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Morristown, New Jersey. As a full-time professional in our outpatient office, you will leverage your clinical expertise to deliver exceptional rehabilitation services to a diverse patient population. Our Morristown outpatient facility is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation technologies and therapeutic modalities. Our regular operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a consistent schedule that allows for work-life balance.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities, utilizing standardized evaluation tools.
Create and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, incorporating various therapeutic exercises and modalities.
Administer therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, modalities like electrical stimulation, and other innovative practices to facilitate recovery.
Educate patients on proper body mechanics, posture, and techniques for preventing injuries, enhancing their self-management skills.
Continuously monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment protocols based on real-time feedback and clinical findings.
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain meticulous documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
Our therapists cater to a broad clientele, including those recovering from surgical procedures, individuals with chronic pain conditions, and patients experiencing acute injuries. We address a wide array of concerns, including back and neck pain, joint disorders resulting from osteoarthritis, tendonitis, bursitis, sprains, strains, and balance impairments. With our focus on evidence-informed practice, we strive to deliver tailored interventions that promote functional recovery and overall well-being.
A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
Valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
Board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is preferred.
A minimum of one year of hands-on clinical experience treating a varied range of conditions is essential.
Proficiency in various physical therapy techniques and modalities, including experience in outpatient settings.
Strong analytical skills to assess patient needs and develop effective treatment plans!
Exceptional communication abilities for interacting with patients and their families, as well as with the healthcare team members.
Experience working with orthopedic patients and those requiring post-surgical rehabilitation will be highly regarded.
Familiarity with outpatient physical therapy operations and best practices.
Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems for maintaining patient documentation.
