Work Environment

Working onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, our Physical Therapists interact daily with a nurturing, collaborative team of specialists. The work schedule is conveniently set from Monday to Friday, 2 PM to 8 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine rehabilitative needs, customizing individualized care plans that emphasize goal achievement and positive patient experiences.
• Provide comprehensive physical therapy services that include hands-on treatment, exercise prescriptions, and patient education, all tailored to align with physician directives and patient capabilities.
• Lead therapeutic interventions utilizing advanced techniques and procedures to promote functional improvements, always adhering to the ethical standards and legal parameters of physical therapy practice.
• Educate patients, their families, and caregivers in the effective use of therapies, exercises, and necessary medical devices to ensure they can continue benefiting from therapeutic strategies outside clinical settings.
• Prioritize caseload management, enabling efficient staffing and smooth transitions of care by coordinating assignments and facilitating hand-offs to ensure continuity in treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Total Fit Physical Therapy, we serve a diverse clientele, ranging from pediatric to adult patients needing rehabilitation after surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. You will engage with individuals facing various challenges, crafting personalized rehabilitation plans that not only address their immediate physical needs but also empower them toward long-term wellness.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Arizona.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or appropriate entry-level degree (DPT is preferred).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of the employment start date.
• No prior experience is necessary; we welcome new graduates eager to learn and grow in a dynamic clinical environment.

Preferred Experience

• Clinical internships or volunteer experience in a physical therapy setting will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with orthopedic rehabilitation and patient engagement strategies.

Compensation and Benefits
