Position Overview

Rhythm & Motion Physical Therapy and Wellness is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at our rehabilitation facility located in Fairview, New Jersey. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually and is designed for professionals committed to providing exceptional patient care in an outpatient orthopedic setting. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive examinations and evaluations to develop effective treatment plans tailored to the individual patient’s needs, ensuring alignment with pertinent state practice acts.
• Implement a variety of treatment protocols based on assessment findings and continued patient progress, demonstrating adaptability to changes in their condition.
• Document all patient care activities meticulously, including evaluations, treatment plans, interim progress summaries, and discharge evaluations, to maintain transparency and comply with evolving healthcare regulations.
• Engage collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals, providing updates on patient progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as indicated.
• Participate in discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring patients receive the necessary support and guidance to maintain their health post-treatment.
• Complete all mandatory training related to corporate and clinical services while ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
• Contribute to team initiatives that remove barriers to access and enhance the quality and accessibility of care provided to our patients.
• Attend organizational meetings, sharing insights and collaborating with colleagues to improve facility operations and patient experiences.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our physical therapists at Rhythm & Motion focus on a diverse patient population, primarily adults seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic issues. This can include post-operative care, sports injuries, chronic pain management, and mobility limitations. You will be responsible for fostering a supportive atmosphere that honors each patient’s unique history and health goals, ensuring they feel encouraged and empowered throughout their therapy journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• A valid state license as a Physical Therapist (PT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience.
• A current CPR certification to ensure preparedness for any medical emergencies.

Preferred Experience

While two years of experience in outpatient orthopedics is required, candidates with a background in manual therapy techniques, sports therapy, or specialized orthopedic certification will be given preference. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms is also advantageous.
