Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Immokalee. Our facility features modern treatment rooms and equipment designed to create an optimal healing space for our patients. The work schedule is full-time, from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, providing an excellent work-life balance within a professional setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth evaluations and assessments of patients to establish individualized treatment plans that address their specific goals and needs.
• Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions focusing on orthopedic care, employing a variety of manual therapy techniques tailored to each patient’s condition.
• Maintain an efficient patient load, ensuring each individual receives the appropriate amount of care and attention.
• Implement tailored fitness and wellness programs designed to address the specific requirements of patients, promoting long-term recovery and strength.
• Utilize advanced EMR software, such as Web PT, for accurate documentation, tracking progress, and ensuring seamless communication across the care team.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient progress and recovery.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to facilitate integrated care for patients, enhancing overall treatment effectiveness.
• Motivate and support patients in their rehabilitation journey, focusing on building confidence and resilience.
• Promote non-surgical solutions, aiming to minimize the need for medications while enhancing mobility and functionality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our orthopedic physical therapy practice serves a diverse range of patients, including athletes recovering from injuries, post-operative patients, and individuals experiencing chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will work with clients of all ages, helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals through personalized care plans and a community-focused approach.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida with a clean record, free of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques with relevance to orthopedic care.
• Strong ability in customizing and executing exercise programs that meet specific patient needs and objectives.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Web PT, for effective workflow management and documentation.
• Current knowledge and compliance with evidence-based physical therapy techniques.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy setting is highly desirable.
• Experience in working with athletic populations and sports injury rehabilitation is a plus.
• Demonstrated excellence in communication skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration.
• Ability to create detailed and actionable care plans based on individual patient assessments.

Compensation and Benefits
