Position Overview

SpringLeaf Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive patient care in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Los Angeles, California. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in guiding patients on their journey to recovery, helping them regain mobility, enhance functional abilities, and improve their overall quality of life.

Work Environment

You will work onsite in our Los Angeles facility alongside a team consisting of two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our team atmosphere promotes communication, problem-solving, and the sharing of best practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' physical limitations, functional abilities, and rehabilitation goals.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans utilizing diverse therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities appropriate for orthopedic care.
• Manage an efficient patient load, seeing approximately one patient per hour, ensuring high-quality care and documentation.
• Motivate and educate patients throughout their treatment process, providing information on injury prevention and self-management strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, involving physicians, occupational therapists, and other specialists to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records via our EMR software platform, WebPT, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Monitor and assess patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs and maximize outcomes.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle for patients through tailored fitness and wellness programs focusing on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Document and evaluate treatment outcomes, communicating with patients regarding their progress and any necessary adjustments to the care plan.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily serves patients with private medical insurance, focusing on those recovering from orthopedic conditions, injuries, or surgeries. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted license to practice Physical Therapy in California.
• Exemplary record with no disciplinary actions or licensure issues.
• Proficient in manual therapy methods and exercise prescription.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated capabilities in developing and implementing personalized exercise regimens and rehabilitation programs.
• Strong skills in patient education, particularly regarding self-management of injuries and health maintenance.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
