As a Physical Therapist, you will work onsite, allowing you to engage directly with patients and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical evaluations of residents to assess their range of motion, strength, balance, and functional limitations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, identifying specific rehabilitation goals and appropriate modalities including exercise programs, heat therapy, and manual techniques.
• Implement treatment plans through therapeutic exercises aimed at enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination while addressing pain management strategies.
• Guide residents in walking techniques, utilizing assistive devices, and implementing fall prevention protocols.
• Support residents in performing activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, bathing, and transferring to promote independence.
• Educate residents and their caregivers on effective exercise techniques, safe home practices, and strategies for preventing falls.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records documenting progress notes, treatment interventions, and functional assessments.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with older adults who experience a variety of age-related conditions, including arthritis, osteoporosis, neurological disorders, and post-surgical recovery. Many residents rely on our therapies to regain mobility and independence after experiencing debilitating injuries or illnesses. Your expertise will directly influence their recovery journeys and overall satisfaction with life.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of California.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist, with a strong familiarity with age-related conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
• Strong ability to develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans based on individual assessments.
• A genuine passion for facilitating meaningful recovery for patients.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an Assisted Living Facility or rehabilitation center is preferred, though not strictly required.
• Experience working with geriatric populations, particularly those with neurological or orthopedic conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience, along with an attractive benefits package.
