Position Overview

Agile Life Physical Therapy is actively seeking dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapists who are passionate about delivering high-quality care to our geriatric patients. Work Environment

This position offers the opportunity to work onsite at our modern Rehabilitation Center, where collaboration and transparency are at the forefront of our practice. You will enjoy flexible scheduling, with a typical work week of Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing you to achieve a work-life balance while providing essential services to our community.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities, crafting personalized treatment plans that align with their specific needs and objectives.
• Deliver compassionate therapy sessions, utilizing methods such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities tailored to the geriatric population.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adapting treatment strategies to ensure optimal outcomes and address any changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to foster a comprehensive and coordinated approach to patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on effective therapeutic techniques, home exercise programs, and strategies to prevent injury and falls.
• Implement specialized fall prevention programs and safety protocols within our assisted living community to enhance patient safety.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy through continuing education opportunities, ensuring the implementation of evidence-based practices.
• Uphold ethical and professional standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and providing care that meets the highest standards of quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on our geriatric clients, who may face multiple challenges such as musculoskeletal issues, post-surgical rehabilitation, neurological disorders, and chronic pain. You will be instrumental in helping them not only regain their physical abilities but also foster their independence and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A graduate degree (Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s) in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Colorado.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
• Competency in utilizing electronic medical records (EMRs) for documentation and patient management.
• A commitment to implementing evidence-based practices and continuously improving therapeutic skills.
• Dedication to patient-centered care, emphasizing patient autonomy and informed decision-making.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, while also demonstrating independence in clinical practice.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with geriatric populations or in outpatient settings is preferred; however, we welcome applications from new graduates passionate about geriatric therapy.
• A strong background in implementing therapeutic techniques relevant to elderly patients and a keen interest in continually enhancing your professional skill set.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
