Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Patient Evaluation: Assess patients referred by physicians to determine their physical capabilities and limitations.
• Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, ensuring effective management of their rehabilitation.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement evidence-based therapeutic procedures and techniques in accordance with established care plans to facilitate recovery and improve function.
• Team Collaboration: Actively participate in team meetings and case discussions to refine treatment approaches and enhance overall patient care.
• Patient and Caregiver Education: Provide training and guidance to patients and their caregivers about treatment plans and exercises to be performed at home.
• Customer Service: Maintain a patient-focused attitude, demonstrating compassion and professionalism while addressing patients' concerns and progressing their treatments.
• Performance Metrics: Meet minimum utilization goals and contribute to the achievement of organizational objectives, ensuring high standards are consistently upheld.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will encompass a wide range of patient demographics, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine populations. You will adapt your treatment strategies to meet the unique needs of each patient, utilizing skills in manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and education to promote recovery and functional independence.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are required for the Physical Therapist position:

• Graduation from an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited physical therapy program.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy, required to practice in New Jersey.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and their families.
• Proficient in computer skills necessary for documentation and treatment planning.
• A collaborative mindset with a focus on building relationships with patients to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with specialized experience or certifications in areas such as sports rehabilitation, orthopedics, or pediatric therapy will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with advanced therapeutic modalities and experience in a multidisciplinary team setting are advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
