Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Leg Work Rehab Group, you will work onsite in our well-equipped outpatient office. The facility is designed to facilitate collaborative care, with private treatment rooms, open rehabilitation areas, and state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment. You'll have the support of a committed team of professionals, including rehabilitation technicians and therapy assistants, working together to provide comprehensive care. Your typical schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough screenings and evaluations to assess patient needs and determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Design, implement, and modify individualized treatment strategies based on patient progress and feedback.
• Effectively supervise and mentor rehabilitation assistants and technicians to ensure high standards of patient care.
• Maintain diligent documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and discharge summaries in compliance with industry regulations and organizational standards.
• Establish rapport and positive interactions with patients, their families, and other healthcare providers to foster an encouraging therapeutic environment.
• Stay informed of and adhere to all state and federal guidelines regarding physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work closely with a varied patient population, including children, adults, and seniors, who present with orthopedic issues, post-surgical rehabilitation needs, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will help patients recover from injuries, improve mobility, and enhance overall physical function. You'll be instrumental in creating a supportive environment that motivates patients to engage actively in their rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized physical therapy program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Missouri.
• Possession of a valid American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
• Proficiency in operating physical therapy equipment and conducting functional evaluations.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with patients, colleagues, and healthcare providers.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with a background in orthopedic rehabilitation and experience in outpatient settings will be highly regarded. Familiarity with using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management is also beneficial. A track record of developing successful wellness programs or implementing innovative treatment techniques will set you apart.

Compensation and Benefits
