Leg Work Rehab Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team in Osage Beach, Missouri. This position is onsite at our home care facility, where you'll work directly with patients in their homes or our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center. The facility is designed to accommodate a variety of therapeutic needs, featuring the latest rehabilitation equipment and tools to facilitate effective therapy sessions. Our culture emphasizes collaborative teamwork, continuous learning, and a patient-centered approach that enhances recovery outcomes.
Conduct thorough patient screenings and evaluations to identify specific needs, creating tailored treatment plans that address both immediate and long-term rehabilitation goals.
Administer physical therapy modalities and exercises that align with the individualized treatment plan, continually assessing patient progress and modifying as necessary.
Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants and rehabilitation technicians to ensure high standards of care and adherence to best practices.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes according to state and federal regulations, as well as organizational policies.
Engage with patients and their families to provide guidance, educate them on therapeutic exercises, and foster understanding of the rehabilitation process.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, participating in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient care strategies and optimize treatment outcomes.
The Physical Therapist role at Leg Work Rehab Group involves working with a diverse patient population ranging from children to the elderly who present with a variety of orthopedic diagnoses such as sports injuries, post-operative recovery, musculoskeletal disorders, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will help improve mobility and enhance the overall well-being of these individuals, positively impacting their daily lives.
Graduated from a physical therapy program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
Possess a current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Missouri.
Hold a valid American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
Demonstrate proficiency with physical therapy equipment and the ability to perform functional assessments safely.
Exhibit strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and build rapport with patients, their families, and a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
At least 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic settings preferred.
Experience in developing comprehensive treatment plans and case management for patients with complex needs.
