Licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy – Rehabilitation Specialist

Position Overview

Empower Concierge Rehab and PT is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) to join our vibrant team at our rehabilitation facility located in LaBelle, Florida. This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in LaBelle, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, discerning their specific physical therapy needs to formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Administer a diverse range of therapeutic interventions tailored to patient conditions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Maintain effective communication with interdisciplinary team members, including participation in case conferences to discuss progress and modify treatment strategies as necessary.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress utilizing electronic medical records (EMR), making necessary adjustments to therapy plans to ensure optimal recovery trajectories.
• Educate patients and their families on their conditions, rehabilitation procedures, and preventive measures to promote long-term health and wellness.
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards to maintain high-quality patient care and ensure patient safety at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a varied patient population that includes individuals recovering from surgeries, traumatic injuries, chronic pain conditions, and other musculoskeletal issues. You will have the opportunity to work with patients of all ages, including children, adults, and seniors, tailoring your approach based on their unique needs and rehabilitation goals. Your expertise will make a significant difference as you empower patients to regain their independence and improve their functional capabilities.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid physical therapist license in the state of Florida or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Current CPR/BLS certification, ideally through the American Heart Association.
• Strong capability in clinical reasoning, assessment, and intervention planning.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate effective patient engagement and collaboration with team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation or acute care setting preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and documentation best practices.
• Interest in pursuing specialty areas in physical therapy such as orthopedics, geriatrics, or sports rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our compensation package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, along with a 401(k) plan featuring employer matching.
