Work Environment

This position is onsite at our rehabilitation center in Mesquite, Nevada. The clinic features state-of-the-art facilities and equipment designed to optimize patient rehabilitation. Our therapy team collaborates closely to share best practices and treatments, fostering a culture of continuous learning and support. Our operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing specific mobility and recovery goals.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, ensuring appropriate techniques based on patient conditions.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises, home care strategies, and self-management techniques, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Monitor patient progress regularly and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic medical records system to track progress effectively.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate patient care and enhance recovery pathways.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work predominantly with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, joint replacements, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Our diverse patient population may include athletes returning to sports, seniors managing chronic pain issues, and individuals recovering from accidents. Your expertise and patient-centered approach will significantly impact their rehabilitation journey, helping them achieve their goals and regain independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required; a Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Nevada is mandatory.
• A robust commitment to patient care, safety, and ethical standards is essential for success in this role.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred, with a focus on outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems is advantageous.
• Previous exposure to multidisciplinary care approaches is beneficial but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
