River Edge Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Hudson, Massachusetts. Our team is composed of skilled professionals passionate about health and wellness, including two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all of whom work collaboratively to ensure exceptional outcomes for our patients.

Work Environment

This role is onsite, primarily taking place in our modern facility located in Hudson, MA, where we serve an active patient population covered by private medical insurance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and individualized therapy sessions.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to design and implement effective treatment regimens tailored for orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Encourage patient compliance and motivation by teaching exercises and strategies to aid their recovery and promote wellness.
• Foster a supportive environment that inspires patients to gain strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals, exchanging insights to provide comprehensive care that reflects each patient’s goals.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress within our WebPT EMR system.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current on the latest therapy approaches and interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will primarily be on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. The ideal candidate will be prepared to handle a diverse range of cases that require nuanced assessment and adaptive treatment methodologies. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current and valid Massachusetts license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practice.
• Experience with developing exercise protocols and managing patient care independently.
• Familiarity with WebPT EMR Software for efficient patient management.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated success in treating patients with a variety of orthopedic injuries and conditions.
• Capability to implement innovative treatment plans and adjust strategies based on patient progress.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
