Work Environment

As part of our rehabilitation center team, you will work onsite in a collaborative environment dedicated to patient-centered care. Our facility features state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment and a welcoming atmosphere conducive to healing. Working Monday through Friday from 9 AM - 5 PM allows for a balanced work-life dynamic while fostering team unity and professional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations to assess patient's physical capabilities and limitations, directly influencing the development of personalized treatment plans.
• Employ evidence-based intervention techniques, such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and neuromuscular re-education, to facilitate efficient rehabilitation and recovery.
• Guide patients through educational sessions on injury prevention, effective posture, ergonomics, and self-management practices to empower them beyond therapy sessions.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as needed while ensuring all documentation is maintained accurately in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians and surgeons, to coordinate integrated patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
• Engage in regular team meetings and case discussions to enhance cooperative treatment strategies and drive professional development within the team.
• Mentor and support Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs), aides, or student interns, fostering a culture of growth and knowledge sharing within our team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The role will involve working with a diverse clientele, primarily composed of patients seeking recovery from orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Your expertise will help instill confidence in patients as they navigate their path to optimal functionality and improved quality of life.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is mandatory; advanced degrees such as a Master’s or Doctorate (DPT) are preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and experience handling various patient cases, particularly focusing on sports injuries or rehabilitation from surgical interventions.
