Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their therapeutic needs, particularly focusing on orthopedic conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on initial evaluations and ongoing assessments.
• Provide hands-on treatment and rehabilitation techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about recovery protocols, home exercises, and self-management strategies to facilitate long-term wellness.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with clinic policies and professional standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic's clientele primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. As a Physical Therapist here, you will leverage your expertise to empower patients on their rehabilitation journey, ensuring a supportive and educational experience. Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid physical therapy license issued by the state of Florida.
• A minimum of three years of experience practicing in an outpatient physical therapy setting focused on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Current Certifications in First Aid, AED, and CPR are mandatory.
• Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, with strong word processing and computer skills.

Preferred Experience

• Continuing education courses or specialty certifications in orthopedic physical therapy or pain management.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to foster comprehensive patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
