Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to develop personalized treatment plans aimed at enhancing mobility and functionality.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and innovative equipment to address pain and promote recovery.
• Document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment approaches based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment protocols, at-home exercise regimens, and the proper use of assistive devices.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, sharing insights and strategies to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Engage in continuous professional development, attending workshops and maintaining credentials to ensure best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals undergoing rehabilitation due to orthopedic issues, including post-surgical recovery, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will cater to a wide spectrum of patients, from young athletes recovering from sports-related injuries to older adults seeking to regain their mobility. Your compassionate approach will be key in providing exceptional patient care and promoting healing journeys.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy is mandatory to practice.
• Exceptional communication skills are essential for effective patient interactions and collaborative care.

• Ability to adapt quickly to diverse patient needs and a dynamic work environment.

Preferred Experience

• While a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferable, we also welcome those with robust experience in physical therapy.
• A minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy is ideal but not required for your application.
• Prior experience in outpatient settings will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
