This position is set in a vibrant home care facility, offering a collaborative and engaging environment where you can thrive as a healthcare professional. You will work alongside skilled professionals from various disciplines, allowing for a multifaceted approach to patient care. The schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a healthy work-life balance that supports both your professional and personal commitments.
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition, identifying specific orthopedic issues and developing individualized treatment plans accordingly.
Implement evidence-based physical therapy techniques, utilizing state-of-the-art therapies and modalities to facilitate optimal healing.
Engage in hands-on treatment sessions with patients, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional training.
Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving patient needs.
Provide educational support to patients and their families on injury prevention, at-home exercise programs, and recovery strategies, enhancing their understanding of the rehabilitation process.
Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure cohesive and effective care.
The ideal candidate will work with a diverse range of patients, from young athletes recovering from competitive injuries to older adults dealing with chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our focus is on providing relief from pain, restoring movement, and aiding functional performance for all ages. A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey is required.
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in physical therapy, with a strong preference for those with a focus on orthopedic therapy.
Exceptional clinical assessment skills with the ability to develop effective treatment strategies that encourage autonomy in patients.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, crucial for building rapport with patients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Cardiopulmonary rehabilitation experience, sports injury management, or post-operative orthopedic care is considered a definite asset.
Familiarity with outcome measurement tools and electronic health records.
Advanced certifications in orthopedic physical therapy (OCS) are highly regarded.
This position offers a competitive salary range between USD 110,000 and 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus performance-based bonuses.
