Work Environment

Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art therapy equipment and resources to aid in the rehabilitation process. As an onsite full-time positions, you will work in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, engaging with fellow healthcare professionals dedicated to providing comprehensive care. Your typical work week will consist of Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with the opportunity to immerse yourself fully in a supportive workplace focused on professional growth and patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine patients’ needs and establish treatment goals.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized attention and care.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and strength training to enhance mobility and functional independence.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality interventions, focusing on minimizing pain and fostering recovery without excessive reliance on medication.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment processes, ensuring they are fully informed and engaged in their rehabilitation journey.
• Monitor patient progress and outcomes, making adjustments to treatment plans as required to optimize results.
• Document all therapeutic services provided, maintaining accurate and timely records that adhere to regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive care plan that addresses all facets of a patient's recovery.
• Encourage and motivate patients through their rehabilitation, instilling confidence and promoting active participation in their recovery.
• Contribute to a healthy lifestyle for clients by developing fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our physical therapist will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. This includes athletes, older adults, and individuals looking to regain mobility after an accident or surgery. Each interaction is aimed at facilitating a return to daily activities and improving overall functional capabilities.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master’s (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no board or disciplinary actions on record.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and designing effective exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as WebPT is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in outpatient orthopedic settings.
• Strong background in implementing evidence-based interventions and utilizing advanced therapeutic modalities.
• Experience working in a collaborative healthcare team setting, ensuring holistic patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
