Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical capabilities and limitations to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to promote mobility, strength, and functional independence.
• Implement and monitor patient-specific therapeutic interventions, guiding patients through tailored exercises and activities designed to relieve pain and enhance physical function.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and strategies to facilitate recovery, using clear communication and empathetic support.
• Utilize various modalities, including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, to assist in patient treatment plans, ensuring their safe and effective application.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, evaluating improvements in range of motion, strength, and overall health metrics to inform future treatment adjustments.
• Maintain treatment spaces to ensure they are safe, clean, and stocked with necessary equipment and supplies, facilitating efficient and orderly therapy sessions.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to devise cohesive care strategies that optimize patient recovery.
• Provide motivational support, fostering a positive environment that encourages patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, enhancing their confidence and improving their adherence to treatment protocols.
• Comply with ethical and professional standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and respecting patient rights throughout the rehabilitation process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population encompasses a wide range of individuals, including those recovering from surgical procedures, athletes with sports-related injuries, and older adults needing geriatric rehabilitation services. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse case presentations that will challenge your skills and knowledge while ensuring personalized care to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Qualifications

• A valid and current state license as a Physical Therapist.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• At least one year of relevant clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, allowing for insightful communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

Experience in a variety of rehabilitative therapies is advantageous, particularly in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation settings, as well as familiarity with rehabilitation technologies and exercise equipment.

Compensation and Benefits
