Key Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical capabilities to develop personalized treatment plans addressing their specific needs and aspirations.
• Delivering skilled therapy services that encompass therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities specifically designed for geriatric patients.
• Regularly monitoring and documenting patients’ progress to refine treatment plans and ensure the highest quality outcomes.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to create a holistic approach to patient care.
• Educating patients and their families on therapeutic techniques, home exercise programs, and strategies for injury prevention, ensuring they are active participants in their recovery journey.
• Implementing safety measures and fall prevention programs aimed specifically at reducing accidents in our assisted living community.
• Staying updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and engaging in continual education opportunities to enhance professional skills.
• Adhering to ethical guidelines, maintaining patient confidentiality, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism in all interactions.

Qualifications

• A graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.

• Proficient in utilizing electronic medical records (EMRs) for documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
