Work Environment

The position will be based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Facility in Jacksonville, where you will work alongside other healthcare professionals who are dedicated to achieving the best possible health outcomes for our pediatric patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough pediatric screenings and evaluations to diagnose and develop treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs.
• Utilize a variety of physical therapy techniques and modalities in accordance with established best practices to help children improve their functional capabilities.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers about treatment plans, exercises, and strategies to foster progress and independence.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, evaluations, treatments, and communications in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Oversee and guide the work of support staff, including physical therapy assistants and aides, ensuring high-quality care and consistency in treatment delivery.
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives, helping to track and enhance clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Engage in continuing education opportunities to stay current with emerging practices and developments within pediatric physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on a diverse pediatric population, including children facing developmental challenges, musculoskeletal injuries, and other complex medical conditions. You will have the chance to work closely with families, providing not only clinical care but also emotional support and education, enabling families to understand their child's therapy journey and progress.

Qualifications

• Current State Physical Therapist license.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; further education (Master’s or Doctorate degree) is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in a clinical healthcare setting, particularly in pediatric therapy.
• Ability to connect and communicate effectively with children and their families, understanding their unique needs and goals.
• Strong physical capabilities, including carrying, lifting, standing, and demonstrating various exercises.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working specifically with pediatric patients in a rehabilitation setting.
• Knowledge of contemporary physical therapy practices and pediatric assessment tools.
• Familiarity with rehabilitation technology and equipment that enhances patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting salary for this position ranges from USD 50,000 to 75,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
