Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their physical therapy needs, setting clear, measurable goals for their treatment.
• Manage a personalized caseload, typically one patient per hour, ensuring focused, high-quality interactions that prioritize individual care.
• Develop comprehensive, evidence-based care plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to meet the specific objectives of each patient.
• Implement cost-effective treatment modalities aimed at improving patient mobility and decreasing reliance on medications and surgical interventions.
• Design individualized fitness and wellness programs, emphasizing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination to enhance overall patient fitness.
• Document all services provided to patients in detail, tracking progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on evaluation outcomes.
• Provide continuous motivation and encouragement to patients throughout their treatment process, fostering a positive and uplifting recovery environment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and best-possible outcomes for our patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves a diverse population of patients dealing with orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain. Our patients range from active individuals seeking to return to their favorite activities to older adults aiming to maintain their mobility and independence. This role is essential in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey while addressing their unique challenges and aspirations.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• An impeccable professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against the license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop and implement effective exercise protocols.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software, especially WebPT, is preferred for efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated skill in implementing therapeutic interventions that lead to measurable improvements in patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
