Work Environment

This position requires working directly in patients' homes, allowing you to provide tailored care in a familiar and comfortable setting for them. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients' physical capabilities, functional limitations, and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on patient-specific goals, using a blend of manual therapy techniques and exercise prescriptions.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, ensuring proper techniques are employed to minimize injuries and promote functional mobility.
• Provide education and training to patients and their families, incorporating preventative exercises and lifestyle modifications to maintain health regimens at home.
• Document patient progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes meticulously, adhering to regulatory standards and promoting continuity of care.
• Engage in regular team meetings and case discussions to ensure comprehensive, multi-faceted care for all patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client focus primarily involves individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work with a diverse array of patients, adapting rehabilitation programs to meet the unique needs of each individual. Understanding patient history and setting realistic recovery expectations plays a critical role in your contributions to their journeys toward improved health and functionality.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapy License in New Jersey.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with preference given to candidates possessing a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient or orthopedic setting is essential.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification for healthcare professionals.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of experience is required, candidates with advanced training in manual therapy techniques or experience in home health care will be prioritized. Familiarity with electronic health record systems for documentation and treatment planning is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
