Work Environment

This position is based in our vibrant outpatient clinic in Tampa, Florida. The clinic operates Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a balanced work-life schedule for our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized therapy tailored to each patient’s specific goals, ensuring comprehensive and effective rehabilitation.
• Manage a focused patient caseload, allowing for dedicated time on treatment and building rapport with clients.
• Bring your experience in orthopedic outpatient care to provide expert assessments and interventions.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies that prioritize improving patients’ mobility and reducing pain.
• Promote non-surgical interventions to minimize reliance on medications for pain management.
• Design comprehensive treatment plans integrating various modalities including exercise, manual therapy, and education.
• Develop customized wellness and fitness programs that align with the individual needs of patients.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to track patient outcomes and adjust treatment approaches as necessary.
• Support and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process to ensure adherence and positive outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Continuously monitor treatment effectiveness and document progress to refine care approaches.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation for all patient interactions and treatments provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic caters to a diverse range of patients, including athletes, post-operative individuals, and those suffering from chronic pain or mobility issues. You will work closely with clients of varying ages, backgrounds, and physical conditions, tailoring your treatment plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for each individual.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, in good standing, free from sanctions or board investigations.
• Strong proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and modalities that enhance therapeutic interventions.
• Exceptional ability to design and implement creative and effective exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Competency in utilizing EMR software, with experience in WebPT being an advantage.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current physical therapy practices and methods, bolstered by ongoing professional development.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient clinical settings, particularly in orthopedics or sports rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with contemporary physical therapy evidence, including methods for pain management and rehabilitation strategies.
• Demonstrated track record of maintaining strong patient relationships and positive treatment outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
