Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the physical impairments, functional limitations, and potential for recovery of each patient.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that combine various therapeutic techniques, ensuring optimal outcomes for each patient.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and exercise programs that enhance patient strength, flexibility, and overall functionality.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes and the use of mobility aids, ensuring they comprehend their treatment and recovery plan.
• Maintain accurate patient records, documenting services provided, progress notes, and outcomes as required by state regulations.
• Regularly collaborate with other healthcare providers, including orthopedic surgeons and primary care doctors, to share insights and optimize patient care.
• Monitor patient progress consistently, adjusting treatment plans based on individual responses to therapies to enhance efficacy.
• Promote patient engagement by inspiring and motivating them to take active roles in their own recovery.
• Actively participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay updated with advances in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a part of our team, you will primarily serve a diverse population of patients, including post-operative orthopedic cases, sports injury rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Our clients range from young athletes aiming to recover optimal function to elderly individuals seeking to restore mobility and independence. Your ability to tailor approaches for each patient's unique situation will be essential in fostering effective healing and recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy is required, while candidates with a Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) are preferred.
• A valid and current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• No record of disciplinary actions associated with your license.
• Strong knowledge and proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.
• Hands-on experience in using EMR software, particularly WebPT, for efficient documentation and management of patient information.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience (2+ years) working in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy settings.
• Familiarity with cutting-edge therapeutic modalities and patient engagement strategies.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
