This position is conducted onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, equipped with advanced therapeutic technology and comfortable treatment areas to facilitate optimal patient care. You will work in an interdisciplinary environment that includes collaboration with a variety of healthcare professionals, such as doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, ensuring comprehensive care for every patient.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities, needs, and restrictions to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Regularly monitor, document, and assess patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on evolving needs.
• Engage in collaborative care planning with an interdisciplinary team, providing insights and recommending adjustments to enhance overall patient care.
• Design and implement customized therapy sessions that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapies, and other modalities targeting specific physical impairments.
• Educate patients and their families on evidence-based home exercise programs, offering strategies to promote sustained recovery and health maintenance.
• Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations as well as industry standards, ensuring the highest quality of care is consistently delivered.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will primarily focus on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, those suffering from chronic pain, and individuals seeking pain management and mobility improvement. With a commitment to patient-centered care, you will develop long-term therapeutic relationships with clients and educate them on maintaining an active lifestyle post-rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• A current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; a Master’s degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to foster strong patient and team relationships.
• Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic and collaborative environment, embracing the diverse skills and specialties of your colleagues.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
