Work Environment

You will be working in a dynamic outpatient office located in the vibrant city of West Palm Beach, Florida. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Renown Physical Therapy, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' functional limitations and disabilities, followed by creating individualized treatment plans.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, re-evaluating progress, and modifying treatment plans as necessary.
• Engaging directly with patients to educate them about their conditions, proposed interventions, and home exercises to ensure adherence.
• Documenting patient progress and treatment outcomes systematically, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and professional standards.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, family members, and caregivers to coordinate patient care and discharge planning effectively.
• Participating in leadership activities including community outreach, quality improvement initiatives, and patient education workshops.
• Supervising and mentoring support staff and contributing to their professional development through training and guidance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse patient population, primarily consisting of individuals with orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation needs, and chronic pain issues. Your ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with patients of varying backgrounds and ages is crucial to ensuring their comfort and engagement throughout the recovery process.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills, along with competency in word processing and electronic medical record documentation.
• A strong commitment to ongoing professional development and compliance with all regulatory standards.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in physical therapy is required, candidates with experience in outpatient orthopedic settings will be given preference. Familiarity with tools and systems relevant to patient management and treatment documentation will be advantageous.
