Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist for Transformative Rehab

Transformative Rehab & Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and dynamic Physical Therapist to join our passionate team in Passaic, New Jersey. In this full-time role based in our outpatient facility, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life of our patients through tailored therapeutic interventions. Work Environment

Our office operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, adopting a patient-centered approach in every aspect of our practice. Working onsite, you will be interacting directly with patients and multidisciplinary teams, leveraging your skills in a dynamic setting designed to maximize patient outcomes. The environment is one of support and encouragement, where the team works closely to share ideas, treatments, and strategies for therapy while ensuring everyone is on the same pathway to success and healing.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patients' specific goals and necessary interventions during initial visits.
• Design individualized treatment plans that incorporate effective physical therapy techniques and exercises aimed at restoring mobility and improving physical function.
• Manage caseloads by seeing one patient per hour, ensuring that each appointment is structured to involve assessment, treatment, and education on self-management strategies.
• Regularly document all aspects of patient encounters, including evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes, in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities and manual techniques to address orthopedic conditions and restore optimal functional capacity.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure holistic patient care and to troubleshoot barriers to recovery.
• Monitor patient progress over time, modifying treatment plans as needed, and conducting follow-up assessments to evaluate effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse caseload of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, and chronic pain conditions. Your hands-on approach will not only assist in their recovery but also educate patients about injury prevention and promote physical wellness, which is crucial for long-term health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid New Jersey State licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience providing physical therapy services.
• A clean professional record with no board actions or disciplinary measures against your license.
• Strong skills in manual therapy techniques and a commitment to evidence-based practices.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

While prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is a must, we highly value those who possess specialized skills or certifications in manual therapy or injury prevention strategies. Familiarity with specific electronic health record systems will be considered an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits
