We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapy Specialist to join Talk Path Rehab Center, located in Dulles, Virginia. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will take the lead in evaluating, planning, and implementing evidence-based treatment plans for patients suffering from a range of orthopedic conditions.

Work Environment

This position is based in our state-of-the-art onsite rehabilitation facility in Dulles, offering a full-time work schedule of 40 hours per week, with some variable weekend shifts. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, assessing their functional limitations and developing tailored treatment plans to optimize recovery.
• Utilize advanced treatment methodologies, including manual therapy, therapeutic modalities, and progressive exercise programs, to elevate patient outcomes.
• Effectively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, ensuring continuity of patient care through regular consultations and progress updates.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation as per legal and professional standards, actively participating in facility audits and performance evaluations.
• Supervise and educate support staff, interns, and assistants on best practices in patient care and service delivery, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote wellness and educate the public on injury prevention and rehabilitation.
• Attend regular staff meetings and participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility. Your expertise will guide patients of various ages and cultures through their rehabilitation journey, ensuring equitable and respectful treatment that addresses their unique needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Virginia.
• Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication, with a strong emphasis on patient education and collaboration.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize patient care in a dynamic clinical environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic physical therapy, with knowledge of contemporary therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and documentation software.

Compensation and Benefits
