Work Environment

Located in Winchester, Virginia, our outpatient office provides a dynamic clinical setting where physical therapists engage directly with patients in hands-on therapy sessions. The center is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment, facilitating a comprehensive approach to therapy. Our normal working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, which allows for a healthy work-life balance while maintaining a focus on patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans for patients with various functional limitations and disabilities.
• Adhere to the state practice acts and regulations ensuring compliance in therapy practices and supervision standards.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, documenting patient histories, evaluations, and recommendations accurately in the patient care system.
• Deliver treatment protocols tailored to patient's needs, utilizing current evidence-based practices and methodologies within the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Consult with multidisciplinary healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and condition changes.
• Facilitate effective discharge planning, ensuring all follow-up care is carefully documented, aligning with patient goals and anticipated outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with clinical documentation standards, ensuring transparency and accuracy in patient records and billing processes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, contributing insights to improve patient access and care coordination.
• Engage actively in continuing education opportunities and corporate trainings required by the organization, keeping abreast of best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A current and valid state license to practice physical therapy.
• 2 years of hands-on experience in physical therapy settings, demonstrating proficiency in patient evaluation and treatment.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport with patients and colleagues alike.

Preferred Experience

• Experience utilizing digital health applications or technologies to enhance patient care is highly desirable.
• Background in personal training or wellness services may be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
