Work Environment

The work setting is an onsite rehabilitation facility, designed to foster collaboration and comprehensive patient care. The physical therapy team, consisting of two seasoned therapists and a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), works closely together to develop effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs. Our hours are Monday to Friday, with flexible shift options between 7:00 am - 3:30 pm or 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, promoting work-life balance for our staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients upon their arrival, assessing their physical abilities and establishing personalized treatment objectives.
• Deliver focused one-on-one therapy sessions, ensuring each patient receives personalized care to enhance their treatment experience.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to improve patients' range of motion and functional capacities.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans, continuously adjusting them based on patient progress and feedback.
• Collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide holistic care to patients.
• Regularly document patients' progress and outcomes, maintaining meticulous records to support ongoing treatment strategies.
• Advocate for non-invasive treatment alternatives, focusing on reducing the need for medication and promoting overall wellness.
• Encourage and empower patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals, guiding them through their recovery journey with motivation and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily focuses on patients dealing with musculoskeletal disorders, sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. You will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from professional athletes to active seniors, all seeking to regain or enhance their physical capabilities. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid and active state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A strong track record of clinical proficiency within orthopedic outpatient environments.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, particularly WebPT EMR.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic rehabilitation setting or sports medicine environment is preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective collaboration and patient interaction.

Compensation and Benefits
