Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Active Life Physiotherapy, you will take on a diverse array of responsibilities that directly contribute to positive patient outcomes:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' physical conditions and functional abilities, utilizing standardized tests and observational techniques.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific rehabilitation goals, including short-term and long-term targets.
• Employ hands-on therapy techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Instruct patients and their families on effective home exercise programs and educate them about injury prevention and lifestyle modifications to improve rehabilitation outcomes.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, modifying treatment plans as needed in response to patient feedback and clinical indicators.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and share insights about patient progress.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and integrate new techniques into your treatment programs.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.

• Strong clinical skills, including the ability to perform and evaluate a variety of therapeutic techniques proficiently.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

Active Life Physiotherapy is proud to offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
