Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations by reviewing patient histories and performing specific physical evaluations, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.
• Develop and communicate personalized treatment plans to patients and their families, incorporating their feedback and goals to foster a collaborative and supportive patient experience.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to each patient's unique condition and progression, adapting strategies as needed in the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals when necessary, ensuring all members of the care team are aligned in delivering exceptional patient care.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all patient care activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and facilitating timely insurance billing.
• Effectively manage time to meet productivity goals while actively participating in community and marketing initiatives to promote clinic services and improve patient outreach.
• Be involved in departmental objectives, quality improvement initiatives, and stay informed on current best practices through ongoing continuing education.
• Serve as a clinical instructor for students, providing mentorship and sharing of best practices, while also prioritizing exemplary customer service experiences for all patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be primarily engaged with clients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our diverse patient demographic includes adolescents, adults, and seniors, each requiring tailored care strategies to address their specific rehabilitation needs. Your role will directly impact their recovery journey and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Wisconsin.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Preferred Experience

• Previous work experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is advantageous but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits
