Work Environment

As a member of our orthopedic outpatient clinic, you will work in a collaborative and supportive environment that fosters professional connections and teamwork. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with advanced rehabilitation tools and technologies, ensuring you have the resources needed to succeed in your role. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address the specific needs of each patient, focusing on restoring mobility and improving function.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities, to aid in the healing process.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical conditions and set realistic goals for recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises, lifestyle modifications, and injury prevention strategies to promote long-term health and wellness.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
• Participate in ongoing training and continuing education to stay current with industry best practices and innovations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. This includes athletes recovering from sports-related injuries, seniors with mobility challenges, and individuals recovering from surgical interventions like joint replacements. You will play a crucial role in helping these patients regain their strength, mobility, and functional independence, making a measurable impact on their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher-level education (Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy).
• Current Nevada Physical Therapist (PT) license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong foundational knowledge of orthopedic assessments and treatment methodologies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred.
• Prior experience using modern evaluation and treatment tools, such as biofeedback systems or EMG biofeedback.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to evidence-based practice.
• A demonstrated passion for helping patients recover and regain their movement abilities.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging between $95,000 and $110,000, contingent upon experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
