As a full-time therapist specializing in home care services, you will play a critical role in restoring patients’ motion and enhancing their quality of life. This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, based on experience.

Work Environment

This full-time position requires onsite work primarily within clients' homes. Our physical therapists deliver care in a variety of settings, promoting a flexible schedule conducive to achieving optimal patient outcomes. Your typical work hours will be from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized care to patients in their homes, crafting individualized treatment plans that address their unique physical goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Maintain a manageable patient load, ensuring high-quality, focused care, monitoring patients’ progress closely.
• Employ advanced orthopedic outpatient care techniques based on evidence-based practices to facilitate optimal movement and strength recovery.
• Utilize cost-effective and innovative treatment methods to support patients' mobility goals, emphasizing non-invasive and preventive approaches.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that outline specific treatment modalities, fitness routines, and wellness strategies.
• Provide motivational support and encouragement to patients, fostering engagement and enhancing long-term commitment to physical health.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, sharing insights and strategies to improve patient outcomes.
• Keep meticulous records of patient progress and treatment interventions using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, for accurate documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our service area includes a diverse range of patients, from those recovering from surgeries and injuries to individuals seeking to improve their overall physical wellness. As a physical therapist in home care, your interactions will be primarily with patients who may have mobility challenges, allowing you to implement tailored rehabilitation programs to facilitate their road to recovery from the comfort of their homes.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• Possess an active and unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• No history of sanctions or disciplinary actions on your professional license.
• Strong knowledge of manual therapy techniques and a proven ability to design and execute successful exercise programs.
• Proficient in using EMR software for efficient patient documentation.
• Stay abreast of current research trends and methodologies in physical therapy practices.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in home care or outpatient physical therapy settings.
• Demonstrated capability in developing patients' physical fitness and wellness programs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with patients and healthcare teams.
• Experience with patients from diverse backgrounds and varying levels of physical ability.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
