Work Environment

As a member of our team, you will work onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, fully equipped to support a wide range of treatments and therapies. You will operate within a collaborative environment surrounded by experienced physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals dedicated to interdisciplinary care. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a work-life balance that nurtures personal and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and document patient histories, physical assessments, and treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Maintain a consistent patient load of one person per hour, enabling thorough attention and high-quality therapy for each client.
• Administer effective physical therapy techniques, focusing on enhancing patients' range of motion, strength, and functionality.
• Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans incorporating a variety of therapeutic modalities suitable for diverse conditions.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic processes, exercise regimens, and lifestyle modifications to support recovery and prevent further injuries.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) software, such as WebPT, for accurate documentation and tracking of patient progress.
• Motivate and encourage patients during therapy sessions, creating a supportive atmosphere that fosters recovery and personal responsibility in their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, discussing patient care strategies and facilitating referrals to ensure comprehensive treatment.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Stay informed of the latest advancements in physical therapy practices through continuous education and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with patients in orthopedic rehabilitation, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our diverse clientele also encompasses individuals with neurological concerns and post-surgical recovery needs. Your approach will be patient-centric, emphasizing personalized care to meet the unique challenges faced by each client.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• No record of board or disciplinary actions associated with your professional license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of individualized exercise programs.
• Experience utilizing EMR software such as WebPT to facilitate efficient patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist within orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Proven track record in administering cost-effective therapies that reduce reliance on medications and surgical interventions.
• Experience in designing wellness programs tailored to the specific needs of diverse patient populations.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 – 130,000 annually, reflective of your experience and contributions to our team. In addition to salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including:
