Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, identifying their goals and needs to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Manage a patient caseload effectively, typically one patient per hour, ensuring quality, focused care tailored to each individual's recovery journey.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality physical therapy interventions, enhancing patients' range of motion, strength, and mobility.
• Implement effective treatment techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and alternative modalities that prioritize patient comfort and recovery.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive approach to each patient's rehabilitation, ensuring all aspects of care are addressed.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment services meticulously, leveraging EMR systems—especially WebPT—to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes and make necessary adjustments based on patient progress, fostering an interactive dialogue that encourages patient engagement.
• Assist patients in setting and achieving their health goals, motivating them throughout the rehabilitation process to foster independence.
• Advocate for a healthy lifestyle among patients by designing fitness and wellness programs that emphasize strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adults and seniors recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Your interactions will focus on empowering patients, educating them about their conditions, and teaching them techniques to manage their recovery. By offering tailored strategies and ongoing support, you will significantly contribute to enhancing their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of a valid physical therapist license in the state of Florida is mandatory, with a clean professional record free from disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable, with a proven track record of successful patient outcomes.
• Competence in managing diverse patient populations with various physical therapy needs.
• Previous experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide cohesive patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

Superior Balance Physical Health Therapy offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
