Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify each patient's physical capabilities and limitations, setting clear, achievable goals.
• Design and manage personalized treatment plans that incorporate various evidence-based modalities and manual therapy techniques.
• Deliver hands-on therapy and exercises, ensuring continuous improvement in the patient’s range of motion and overall mobility.
• Motivate and support patients during their rehabilitation journey, encouraging adherence to treatment plans and lifestyle changes.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient evaluations, progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and specialists, to provide well-rounded care and support for patients.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to track patient information and treatment progress efficiently.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment regularly and adjust plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Provide education to patients and their families about exercises, preventative measures, and strategies to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and treatments in physical therapy to maintain the highest standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our orthopedic outpatient facility caters to a wide range of patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and musculoskeletal conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse patients, tailoring your interventions to meet the unique challenges faced by each individual. Your role will directly impact their rehabilitation journey, fostering independence and helping them to return to their daily activities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or higher degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid Florida state license to practice as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your licensing.
• Strong manual therapy skills and expertise in developing exercise protocols that meet diverse patient needs.
• Proficient use of EMR software, specifically WebPT, is a plus.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• A background in implementing comprehensive care programs and interventions is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to better engage with patients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
