We are actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopaedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Prairie Lakes PT Services LLC in Miami, Florida. This full-time position will be based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, where you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality physical therapy services designed to enhance the functional abilities and overall well-being of our patients. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and restoring muscle function based on each patient's unique capabilities and goals.
• Directly supervise physical therapy assistants to ensure adherence to the treatment plan and deliver high-quality care.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients using diagnostic tests for muscles, nerves, joints, and functional abilities to assess their level of physical function.
• Assess the home environment for rehabilitation needs, providing recommendations that help clients achieve greater independence.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapies, functional exercises, and the application of physical agents such as traction and massage.
• Evaluate, fit, and adjust orthotic and prosthetic devices, making modifications in collaboration with referring physicians.
• Document and maintain accurate clinical records, including initial evaluations, care plans, progress reports, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with OASIS requirements.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing to comprehensive planning of client care.
• Train clients and their families on the proper use and maintenance of physical therapy devices and the client's overall therapy regimen.
• Conduct on-site functional assessments and continuously review and revise treatment plans to maximize client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary clientele includes individuals recovering from orthopaedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and disabilities affecting mobility and everyday activities. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Current and valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, demonstrating good standing.
• Active CPR certification and a valid driver’s license with automobile insurance.
• A deep-seated passion for clinical excellence and a proven track record of patient engagement.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of experience in acute care or home care settings, showcasing adaptability and versatility in treatment approaches.
• Demonstrated expertise in rehabilitative methodologies tailored to orthopaedic conditions.
