Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Texoma Care, you will work onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center located in South River, NJ. The clinic operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, with a commitment to working 40 hours per week. Key Responsibilities

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating patient conditions through comprehensive assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the patient's specific needs, ensuring adherence to the physician’s plan of care.
• Providing skilled therapy services, both in-clinic and during home visits, applying a variety of rehabilitative techniques and modalities to help patients regain function and mobility.
• Fostering strong patient relationships by delivering compassionate care and actively engaging patients and their families in the treatment process.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design and adjust treatment approaches based on patient progress and feedback.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, treatment interventions, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Meeting organizational objectives in terms of patient caseload and achieving targeted utilization metrics.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse array of patients presenting various needs, including those from orthopedic, pediatric, neurological, and sports medicine backgrounds. Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution, with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficiency in both written and verbal communication; excellent interpersonal skills to connect with patients effectively.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate documentation and patient tracking.
• A dedication to establishing positive, impactful relationships with patients to help them exceed their functional goals.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist is required, candidates with additional experience working in diverse clinical settings or specialized pediatric or sports medicine environments will stand out in the hiring process.
