Joint Revival Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team in Centreville, Virginia. As a Physical Therapist in our facility, you will play a crucial role in implementing treatment plans, conducting thorough assessments, and utilizing a patient-centered approach to help individuals achieve their personal health and wellness goals.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our facility in Centreville, Virginia, where you will work closely with a collaborative team of healthcare providers. We operate Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, maintaining a schedule designed to allow ample time for patient interactions and individualized care. The facility’s atmosphere is dynamic and welcoming, providing the perfect setting for both patients and staff to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients through the development of customized care plans tailored to their specific needs and health goals.
• Deliver high-quality, hands-on therapy services, utilizing a variety of manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises.
• Support patients with evidence-based interventions that promote recovery and improve mobility, focusing on strengthening and enhancing overall function.
• Educate patients and their families about recovery processes, techniques, and self-management strategies to empower them on their wellness journey.
• Maintain a manageable caseload while providing focused attention to each patient and ensuring high-quality care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure comprehensive treatment and communication.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans based on individual progress and feedback.
• Document all patient interactions, treatments, and progress meticulously using EMR software, especially Web PT, to ensure accurate patient records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient physical therapy services cater to a diverse clientele, ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults seeking to improve their mobility and strength. You will work with patients suffering from various orthopedic conditions, chronic pain, and post-surgical rehabilitation. The focus is on providing individualized care that addresses each patient’s unique circumstances, maximizing their potential for recovery and enhancement of their daily lives.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred).
• An active Physical Therapist license in Virginia, free of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and a track record of developing successful therapeutic exercise programs.
• Proficient in utilizing EMR software (preferably Web PT) for patient documentation and care management.
• A commitment to continuous learning and staying current with the latest physical therapy techniques and research-supported practices.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Experience treating patients with sports injuries and orthopedic conditions.
• Ability to create and implement exercise plans that cater to the diverse needs of various patients.

Compensation and Benefits
