Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to identify their physical therapy needs and establish individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver specialized care focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation while also addressing pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patient needs, ensuring a holistic approach to therapy.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques and methodologies to provide therapeutic care, including therapeutic exercises, functional training, and modalities to improve patient outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to maximize recovery and meet set objectives.
• Ensure excellent customer service is delivered consistently, building rapport and trust with patients and their caregivers.
• Engage in patient education, informing patients and their families about treatment processes, expected outcomes, and at-home care strategies.
• Work collaboratively with other clinicians to discuss treatment plans and contribute to case reviews, enhancing patient care and organizational effectiveness.
• Achieve minimum utilization goals and contribute to the center's operational objectives, fostering a productive work environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse patient population, predominantly focusing on orthopedic cases, but also involving pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients. This variety allows for a rich clinical experience and fosters the development of a broad skill set. Our patient demographic includes individuals of all ages navigating recovery from surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic conditions, making it essential to establish strong therapeutic relationships for effective outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy, with a current state license required to practice.
• Basic Life Support Certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to connect with patients and support them in achieving their goals.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, candidates with previous experience in orthopedic rehabilitation or a strong understanding of evidence-based treatment protocols in a clinical setting will be highly regarded. A proven track record of fostering patient relationships and achieving positive outcomes in therapy will be beneficial in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
