Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients referred by physicians, developing personalized treatment programs that address their specific needs.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices to facilitate recovery and enhance mobility.
• Work collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team, including physicians and nurses, to achieve comprehensive patient outcomes.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide educational resources and training to patients and their caregivers on therapeutic exercises and preventive measures.
• Meet utilization metrics and contribute to the clinic's operational goals.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service, ensuring that each patient feels valued and supported throughout their treatment journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position will involve treating a diverse patient population, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. You will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in the rehabilitation processes of individuals recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions, helping them achieve their functional goals and enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Current and valid state licensure in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on establishing rapport with patients.
• Proficient computer and word processing skills.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in outpatient physical therapy and specialized knowledge in evidence-based treatment approaches will be given preference. Demonstrated ability to build relationships within the community and a passion for patient interaction will also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
