Work Environment

This full-time position is set in a home care environment, allowing you to deliver one-on-one therapy in personalized settings. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and rehabilitation needs, developing tailored treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices.
• Implement and oversee effective therapeutic interventions that promote mobility, strength, and overall functional improvement.
• Provide clinical direction and support to Physical Therapy Assistants, Rehabilitation Technicians, and students, ensuring best practices are followed during patient treatment.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal laws governing physical therapy, understanding legislation that affects home health care protocols.
• Regularly document patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed based on their evolving needs, ensuring optimal recovery trajectories.
• Engage in continuous professional development through participation in training sessions and staying updated on the latest physical therapy techniques and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as a Physical Therapist will involve working closely with diverse patient populations, including post-operative patients, individuals with chronic pain, and those recovering from musculoskeletal injuries. You will develop a deep understanding of their unique challenges, crafting customized therapies that not only address physical rehabilitation but also enhance their mental well-being.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Hold a valid license to practice physical therapy in the state of Florida.
• Exhibit a strong understanding of human anatomy and the ability to integrate this knowledge into effective treatment planning.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex rehabilitation concepts in an accessible manner.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home health care or outpatient therapy settings is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
