Improved Motions Physical Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our exceptional team in Ridgewood, New York. The physical therapist will work onsite in our modern rehabilitation facility that is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and technology. The work environment is fast-paced and collaborative, emphasizing teamwork, engagement, and professional development. You will be part of a diverse group of healthcare experts who are dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a healthy work-life balance.
In this role, you will primarily work with diverse outpatient populations, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise in tailoring therapy programs will play a crucial role in helping patients regain their strength and mobility, enhancing their overall quality of life. Improved Motions Physical Therapy promotes a holistic approach to recovery, focusing on both physical rehabilitation and patient education.
While a minimum of 2 years in outpatient therapy is required, candidates with experience in advanced rehabilitation techniques, patient education, or sports therapy will stand out. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a commitment to evidence-based practice are also beneficial in this role.
