Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our outpatient clinic, where you will work closely with a cohesive team of healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations including a review of patient history, targeted assessments, and detailed documentation of findings and recommendations.
• Effectively communicate evaluation results and proposed treatment plans to both patients and family members, involving them in the goal-setting process.
• Implement treatment protocols with proficiency based on evaluation outcomes and maintain adaptability with changing patient needs and healthcare delivery practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and, when necessary, consult with other healthcare professionals to modify care plans in response to changes in patient conditions.
• Engage in comprehensive discharge planning, ensuring appropriate follow-up care, and provide timely, accurate documentation reflecting the patient's progress and treatment history.
• Manage patient schedules effectively and ensure compliance with productivity targets, while also participating in hospital and community outreach initiatives.
• Contribute to departmental goals and objectives by adhering to regulatory standards and actively participating in professional development activities.
• Promote high standards of customer experience and accessibility and identify potential barriers to care for our diverse patient demographic.
• Mentor students and new staff as a clinical instructor, sharing your expertise to nurture future professionals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Vivid Physiotherapy, you will treat a diverse patient population, ranging from post-operative recovery and sports injuries to chronic pain management and rehabilitation for various conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time role offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, supplemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
