Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our Herndon rehabilitation center, a sophisticated facility equipped with the latest therapy modalities and technologies. Our clinic fosters a collaborative atmosphere where physical therapists, healthcare providers, and support staff work together to create integrated treatment plans. The regular work schedule is from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, providing a consistent rhythm that allows for proper work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care to patients, addressing their distinctive goals and rehabilitation needs through comprehensive assessments and ongoing evaluations.
• Manage a balanced caseload that allows you to devote time and specialized attention to each patient, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Leverage your orthopedic expertise to develop tailored treatment plans that integrate various modalities, including manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise.
• Implement cost-effective interventions that promote healing and restore optimal function while minimizing dependence on pharmacological treatments.
• Engage patients actively throughout their rehabilitation process, motivating them to adhere to their exercise regimens and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and update patient records using our EMR system, ensuring the continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Work synergistically with other healthcare professionals, participating in team meetings to discuss patient progress, treatment strategies, and adjustments in care plans.
• Continuously monitor patient symptoms and response to interventions, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to improve outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, including post-surgical patients or those with chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our diverse patient base ranges from athletes seeking to return to their sport, to active individuals looking to maintain their mobility and quality of life. Engaging with each patient’s unique background and physical challenges will be essential to developing effective treatment strategies.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia with a clean record, free from sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Proficient in a range of manual therapy techniques with a strong focus on orthopedic modalities.
• Demonstrated ability to create and implement individualized exercise programs that enhance functional outcomes.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, preferably Web PT, for efficient documentation and patient management.
• Strong commitment to staying informed about the latest research and evidence-based practices in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, with a proven track record of successful patient outcomes.
• Expertise in developing fitness and wellness programs tailored to diverse patient populations.
• Enhanced communication skills that facilitate effective collaboration with other medical professionals and a positive rapport with patients.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, which is commensurate with experience.
