Key Responsibilities

As an Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including reviewing medical histories and performing specific assessments to identify individual needs.
• Develop and explain customized treatment plans to patients and their families, actively involving them in setting achievable rehabilitation goals.
• Implement treatment protocols based on patient evaluations and changing health conditions, utilizing evidence-based practices to maximize outcomes.
• Consult with multidisciplinary healthcare teams as necessary, recognizing changes in patient conditions that may require adjustments to treatment plans.
• Document patient progress meticulously, including initial evaluations, ongoing treatment notes, interim progress summaries, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Manage your schedule effectively to meet productivity targets while providing exceptional care and customer service.
• Participate in departmental initiatives and community outreach programs to promote health and wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
